This school year 2024-2025, the Department of Education is beginning the implementation of its new MATATAG Curriculum for the K to 12 Program. They are doing it in phases – for this school year, it will be Kindergarten and Grades 1, 4, and 7 that will start using the MATATAG Curriculum.

The MATATAG Curriculum for Kindergarten and Grades 1, 4, and 7 can be found on the DepEd website but it’s grouped by subject. For example, the topics to be covered in Mathematics for all three grade levels are contained in one file. However, for a lot of us, it will actually be more useful if the curriculum is separated by subjects and grouped by grade level so that we can go directly to whatever it is that we need or are looking for.

Thus we’ve taken the liberty of extracting the learning competencies from first to fourth quarter for each subject and putting those for one subject in one grade level in one file. You can scroll down to the grade level that you’re interested in and access the curriculum for each subject by clicking on the subject name.

After the MATATAG Curriculum Guides for Kindergarten and Grades 1, 4, and 7, we’ve also posted in advance the curriculum guides for the rest of the grade levels in the K to 12 program.
