Quick lesson and free worksheets to help learners master the concept of pang-abay (adverbs) and pariralang pang-abay (adverbial phrase) and the different words they describe.
Adverbs are words that describe a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. Ang pang-abay ay salitang naglalarawan sa pandiwa, pang-uri, o kapwa pang-abay.
If the adverb is a phrase — that is, if it is made up of two or more words — it is called an adverbial phrase. Kung ang pang-abay ay isang parirala — kung binubuo ito ng dalawa or higit pang salita– ito ay tinatawag na pariralang pang-abay.
